Second Annual Betrayal Healing Conference Jan. 22-26
Guidance for Breaking Free From Betrayal Trauma
If you are going through betrayal, you know a lot of information is available. But some of it is misinformation. And because of this misinformation, it’s easy to stay stuck in recovery.
The problem is, if you don’t correct three things, you can find yourself stuck in an endless cycle of anger, grief, shame, blame, and sadness.
1. Believing his betrayal is your fault.
This one is easy to fix: It’s NEVER your fault. No matter what he says, the marriage therapist says what you think…. it’s NEVER your fault.
We'll discuss why this is the case throughout the Betrayal Healing Conference.
2. The focus is on his emotions, not yours.
Focusing on his emotions gets you stuck in the healing process. Typically, there's a struggle of whose emotions take center stage. When this happens, you and your pain get overlooked. That cannot happen! His pain cannot trump yours.
How to prevent this hurtful practice is discussed at length during the Betrayal Healing Conference.
3. You are encouraged or feel compelled to forgive too soon.
Too often, women are pushed to forgive too early. He tells you he’s changed and asks why you can’t “just get over it.” Others decide to shove down their emotions, not to feel the pain. If you don’t work on your healing, the wound stays and festers. It’s important to allow yourself to grieve - and know the truth about what he did - before focusing on forgiving.
You’ll get safe, compassionate guidance on these and many other topics at the Betrayal Healing Conference.
If you’re ready to get off the emotional rollercoaster, gain confidence, and figure out your next steps, I invite you to receive a free ticket to this event.
